My name is Freya and I am an emerging garden designer currently studying a Diploma in Garden Design at the London College of Garden Design.

I hold an RHS Level 2 qualification in plant science and have practical gardening experience from volunteering at Fulham Palace Historic Garden and working with a landscaping company in West London. In June 2019 I helped build the RHS Sanctuary Garden at Hampton Court Flower Show and was inspired to attend the International Festival of Landscape in Bergamo, Italy, the following September.

Prior to the Covid-19 outbreak I had secured a placement in April 2020 working in Claude Monet's garden at Giverny near Paris, and was due to be part of three different build teams at the RHS Flower Shows at Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Park. Understandably, none of these plans could go ahead and so I worked as a self-employed garden designer and entered student competitions while waiting to start my diploma.
